Serina Hintze was born and raised in Watertown, Wisconsin. She was a member at Trinity Church and attended Trinity-St. Luke’s Lutheran grade school. She attended Watertown Public High School and continued her education at Martin Luther College. She graduated in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a minor in communication and language arts. 

Serina met her husband, Nathanael, in high school and they were married in 2023. Nathanael is currently a student at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary.

Zion is Serina’s first call, where she will be teaching grades 7 and 8. In her free time, Serina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, painting, and golfing.

Serina’s favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 1:7,8 – But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.
