Jill Archer was born and raised in Milwaukee. She was blessed to attend WELS schools her whole life. Her interest in teaching came early, since her mom was an elementary school teacher in the WELS and Jill helped her a lot in the classroom.

At Wisconsin Lutheran College, Jill met her husband Nathan. They were married in 2003. Nate works for the Penworthy Company, which binds children’s books for libraries. You can find a few of these books at Zion!

Jill began her teaching career in the public schools and has been a kindergarten teacher since 2002. She earned her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction through National-Louis University in 2007. She finished her WELS synod certification in 2019. She enjoys learning about ways to help special-needs children in the classroom.

Nate and Jill have three children: Ella, Kaden, and Colin. In Jill’s spare time she provides childcare for the Milwaukee Brewers, reads, travels, and takes her kids on fun day trips.
