Today we look at stewardship of treasure, and our sermon is based on Mark 12:41-44. The one area of stewardship that gets a lot of attention is money! To live for Jesus with your treasures means more than just dropping a check in the offering plate or giving online. Godly giving is intimately tied to a Christian’s life. It’s giving yourself fully to the Lord, trusting that he will keep his promise to take care of you. That kind of giving (and living!) can only be maintained and nurtured by the Holy Spirit through the Gospel.
