It is the fifth Sunday in Lent, and our theme is “Hiding Treasure in the Trash.” Today, so many people sadly take treasure and throw it in the trash — and as Christians, we recognize the treasure many people tend to throw in the trash: their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior. In our service, will be encouraged to see that Jesus Christ — and our faith in Him — is the ultimate treasure. We will want to hang on to it for the rest of our lives and into eternity.
