This is the last Sunday of the church year, known as “Christ the King Sunday.” Today we celebrate the reign of our King – Jesus Christ – as we review the church year which we are completing. As a liturgical church, we follow a form or pattern of worship and annually review the events of Christ’s life. The Christian church year is living history, a cycle of ancient events brought to life each year. It is history that is as alive as the Church itself.
