Today is Thanksgiving Day. We’ll focus on the fact that no matter what circumstances we are going through in life, we can always be thankful — even for our aggravations and trials.

This morning we will focus the importance of struggle and strain in our lives and what benefit it has for us, and we’ll do that by taking a look at a wrestling match between the Lord and a man named Jacob. Our sermon theme is “Wrestle With the Lord” — based on Genesis 32:22-30.

Today’s sermon is based on Judges 6:33-7:25. It is the third installment in our summer sermon series on Gideon.
