There were a lot of good things going on in our worship this morning: Holy Baptism, Holy Communion, a special Mother’s Day prayer, and a focus on the Lord’s Ascension — how he comes close to us even though he seems to be going away from us.
This weekend, Pastor Taylor spoke about the true vine and the branches, explained in John 15:1-8. Christ is the true vine, and His followers are the branches, vitally connected to Him and spontaneously bearing fruit under His purifying care.
Follow your Good Shepherd! He truly is good. He is good for you because He understands you and He loves you.
