This third Sunday after Epiphany, we are continuing our look at trying to understand Jesus a bit better — in who He is and what He’s teaching and preaching. And what we notice today is that He’s rejected — His message is rejected — but that shouldn’t alarm us at all, because that actually shows that His message is working on the hearts of people. And that rejection is showing that He’s hurting people right in their hearts with the hopes of also healing with His message too.
