What is a
membership class? |

Zion's membership classes
are opportunities to ask all
the questions you have
regarding what is in the
Bible. It will also answer
any questions you have about
the Lutheran church and how
it compares with other
Christian churches.
There is no obligation to
join our church, but you
will have the option of
becoming a member after you
have finished the course.
You'll even get a free Bible
to help in your study! |

these classes for? |

If any of the following applies,
then Zion's membership classes are
for you!

don't know much about the Bible,
but I would like to learn more.

I'm
not sure if I want to be a
member at a church, but I would
like to find out more about it.

could use a good review of the
basic teachings of the Bible.

I
would like to become a member at
a church that teaches all the
truths of God's Word.

I
would like to learn what the
Bible says about marriage, how
God wants people to live, and
how I can be sure of everlasting
life.

would like to try it once or
twice and then decide if I want
to continue on in the class.

Some of the topics we'll study are:

How do we know there is a God?

How did God make the universe
and why is there so much evil in
the world?

God saves us by grace alone!

Why does a Christian have hope?

What does God say about the last
days and the final judgment?

Why do we baptize adults and
infants?

What does God give us in the
Lord's Supper?

How did God give us the Bible?
-
What is the invisible church and
the universal priesthood?

What does God say about our
relationship with Him?
(Commandments 1-3)

What does God say about our
relationship with our neighbor?
(Commandments 4-10)

How does God preserve and
strengthen your faith?

The
classes are small, making it easier to ask questions
without feeling intimidated. Come and learn about
the hope and salvation we have been given in Christ!
Zion will even provide
free child care if you need it! Just let us know in
advance if you'll need to use this service.
